Display Testing

  • Gamma Scientific Display Testing and Measurement solutions are used worldwide to accurately measure parameters such as color characteristics, uniformity, brightness and contrast ratio.
  • Solutions include goniometric systems for testing of displays at different view angles.
  • Gamma Scientific test systems are available to measure virtually all types of displays including near eye displays – virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), helmet mounted monitors, head-up displays (HUD), 3-D displays, and large flat panel displays include OLED and Quantum Dots technologies.

Near Eye Display Measurement System

A new test system from Gamma Scientific is the first to offer high spatial resolution color and contrast measurements for near eye displays (NED) such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and heads up displays (HUD).  Spectral measurements are uniquely captured as viewed by the human eye.

GS-1160 Display Measurement System

The GS-1160 Spectroradiometer is a compact, high speed, and lightweight spectrometer/flicker meter suitable for color and intensity measurement of all display types including LCD, LED, OLED, and Quantum Dot displays. It is available in either a portable battery powered and industrial/desktop version.

Display Measurement Systems

Gamma Scientific Display Measurement Systems can capture spectral measurements of displays in milliseconds with ultra-low uncertainty. Any application which demands high sensitivity in the blue-light region, such as LED backlit displays, will benefit from the systems back-thinned CCD technology.

Goniometric Robot with Display Testing

Gamma Scientific Robotic Display Measurement Systems combine a six-axis robot and high-performance spectroradiometers for fast, accurate display measurements. Each system is fully customizable to meet your immediate needs, while also offering the flexibility to accommodate future display testing requirements for new technologies.

Night Vision Display Testing

Gamma Scientific has been performing Night Vision compatibilty testing on cockpit displays and aircraft lighting since the induction of MIL-L-85762 in 1986. From NVIS Radiance and Chromaticity testing to Contrast Ratio testing, Gamma Scientific can perform all the testing required to pass MIL-L-85762A and MIL-STD-3009.
