Metrology

Gamma Scientific, NVLAP Lab Code 200823-0, has been awarded accreditation by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program under the Energy Efficient Lighting Products Program. This includes LM-79 accreditation for Solid State Lighting Luminaires – Total Flux Measurements (Luminous Efficacy) and Solid State Lighting Luminaires –Luminous Intensity Measurements.

Gamma Scientific also offers a range of physical standards and calibration services to meet the need for optical calibrations in Science and Industry. Our in-house, laboratory standards are regularly-calibrated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), ensuring the lowest-possible uncertainty for our calibrations and measurements.

Our most popular physical standards are presented below. For special applications, consult our engineers about a custom solution.
