Complete LED testing solutions are available using the UDTi flexOptometer, a high-performance radiometer/photometer designed to operate as a photometric, radiometric or fiber optic measurement tool. We also offer custom configurations for LED testing, as well as optical sensors, integrating spheres, LED test sockets and LED calibration.

UDT Instruments Luminous Intensity Meter

This LED test system provides simple and accurate measurement of luminous intensity in units of candela (cd). Comprised of a photopic sensor with intensity adapter and a precision LED socket, the system can be configured for either CIE-prescribed geometry: Averaged Luminous Intensity – CIE 127 Condition A or Averaged Luminous Intensity – CIE 127 Condition B. Luminous intensity calibrations are programmed into the optometer with results displayed in units of candela (cd).

The socket supplied with this system is compatible with common bi-pin packages such as T1, T1-3/4 and T0. Alternative sockets are also available, which support industry standard packages and manufacturers that include:

UDT Instruments Luminous Flux Meter for LEDs

This LED test system is designed to provide simple and accurate measurement of luminous flux in units of lumens (lm). It includes our flexOptometer, a high-performance photometric sensor and an integrating sphere that can be modified to accommodate LED package sizes up to 19 mm in diameter. Results are displayed in units of lumens and luminous flux calibrations are programmed into the optometer.
