UDTi Flexoptometer for LED Test

uLUM Luminous Flux Meter for LED Testing

This flux meter bundle combines a high-performance photometric sensor with an integrating sphere to provide simple and accurate measurement of luminous flux in units of lumens (lm). The sphere includes an input aperture plate with a standard 5 mm diameter port, and a blank port adapter which can be modified to accomodate LED package sizes up to 19 mm (0.75″) diameter. The system realizes a 2π partial flux geometry (aka ‘forward flux’).

The system’s luminous flux calibrations are programmed into the benchtop optometer. Measurement results are displayed by the optometer in units of lumens (lm), and digital data can be acquired directly via PC.

  • SensorModel 211 Photopic Sensor: High-performance photopic filter (f1′< 3%)
  • Integrating Sphere- Model 2525L integrating sphere: 150 mm (6″) diameter; sample port with 5mm adaptor plate; internal baffle; for partial flux (2p) measurement
  • Calibration – U68074: Luminous Flux calibration – optimized for peak wavelengths from 400 to 700 nm – NIST Traceable in units of lumens (lm)
  • Alternative Photometer – Model S471: Portable Photometer with LCD display, RS-232 Interface; 50 programmable cals; AC or Battery power.

uRAD-F Radiant Flux Meter for LED Testing

This bundle combines a broadband silicon sensor with an integrating sphere to provide simple and accurate measurement of radiant flux (power) in units of Watts (W). The sphere includes an input aperture plate with a standard 5 mm diameter port, and a blank port adapter which can be modified to accomodate LED package sizes up to 19 mm (0.75″) diameter. The system realizes a 2π partial flux geometry (aka ‘forward flux’).

Specialized Test Systems

Many variations and extensions of these basic systems are available; when combined with suitable accessories, these types of systems can readily be adapted to make more complex tests and measurements, including LIV characterization and Pulsed-mode testing.
