Optical Accessories for Photosensor Systems

Photosensors can be equipped with various types of optical accessories to form sensor head assemblies suitable for diverse types of measurements. UDT Instruments offers a range of preconfigured sensor heads, as well as the following optical components to enable configuration of custom sensor heads for the measurement of flux, illuminance, irradiance, intensity, luminance, or radiance.

Luminance/Radiance Adaptors

These optical components limit the sensor’s field of view to enable measurement of Luminance (nit; cd/m2) or Radiance (W/m2sr).

Flux/Power Adaptors (Integrating Spheres & Diffuser Assemblies)

These optical components reduce directional sensitivity and provide attenuation to enable accurate measurement of Luminous Flux (lumens) or Radiant Flux (Watts).

Optical Filters – Neutral Density

These spectrally-neutral filters are used for attenuating incident radiation. Each filter assembly includes a Model 102 Filter Holder.

Optical Filters – Bandpass

Each of these filters provides a 10 nm half-power bandpass (FWHM) centered at the specified peak wavelength. Each filter assembly includes a Model 104 Filter Holder/Coupler.
