LED and Luminaire Measurement

Goniometric Measurement - Provides precise measurement of angle dependent spatial radiation properties of LED's. lamps, luminaires and other light-producing devices and modules. The range of Gamma Scientific Goniometric Measurement Devices can be combined with our Spectroradiometers or our Light Meters and Sensors to measure properties such as luminous flux, color or CRI in terms of the angle emitted from the source.

 

Total Flux Measurement - Represents the characterization of the total amount of radiation emitted from a light source in all directions. Data capture may simply include total luminous flux - or wavelength and color properties. The Gamma Scientific range of Total Flux Measurement Systems most often integrate our GS-1220 Spectroradiometers and our Light Meters and Sensors.

 

Integrating Spheres - These devices consist of a hollow spherical cavity with an interior covered with a diffuse reflective coating. In terms of measurement applications, our range of Integrating Spheres can be used to spatially integrate radiant flux.This can allow for the measurement of non-uniform sources, or in the cases of highly directional sources, signal attenuation. It allows for the use of relatively small Photometric and Radiometric Sensors, which are more cost efficient, and provide faster response.

 

LED Test Systems - Manufacturers and users require LED Test Systems that deliver high-precision, consistent, reliable and meaningful test data.  Parameters such as near field / far field spot size, emission angles, spatial uniformity, output power and stability, electrical parameters, wall plug efficiency, chromaticity, rise / fall time and pulse mode characteristics are important to understand and record.  Our range of pre-configured VCSEL Test Systems enable rapid and precise characterization capabilities. From a more modular perspective, LED Rise and Fall-TIme Test Modules are available, as well as Other LED Test Modules including flicker and temperature characterization are also available.
